Lexgard BR/FE is a multi-layered laminated polycarbonate glazing that provides a combination of bullet resistance (.44 Magnum) and 60-minute forced entry resistance. It’s designed for windows and screens that need to resist both firearms and sustained physical attack, and has been extensively tested and used in some of the most hostile environments worldwide.

Unlike traditional glass-based “bulletproof” products, Lexgard BR/FE is an all-polycarbonate laminate, so it doesn’t shatter into sharp fragments and offers excellent multi-hit and physical attack performance. It is lighter than comparable glass solutions and can be cut and drilled on site with the correct tools, giving much more flexibility during installation and retrofit projects.

Lexgard BR/FE is tested to resist .44 Magnum handgun rounds and up to 60 minutes of forced entry attack, meeting recognised US forced-entry test standards (such as HP White, ASTM and WMFL) depending on the specific grade. This makes it ideal where both ballistic and manual attack risks must be addressed with a single glazing product.
